A Resilient Youth’s Journey of Perseverance and Multifaceted Success

Riduan Hridoy, a native of Hetikhain village in Anwara Upazila, Chattogram, embodies a narrative of relentless struggle, courage, and self-belief. His life is a testament to how unwavering dedication and a strong will can forge a path of remarkable achievement across diverse fields, including education, social volunteerism, cultural arts, technology, and politics.

Hridoy’s academic journey began in his village, leading him to the prestigious Jamia Ahmadiyya Sunnia Alia Madrasa for his foundational Islamic education, where he successfully completed his Dakhil, Alim, Fazil, and Kamil levels. Demonstrating a keen interest in media and communication, he pursued and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Port City International University. Currently, he is advancing his expertise with a Master’s degree in Journalism at the Press Institute of Bangladesh (PIB), while simultaneously pursuing a degree in Law at Bangabandhu Law Temple College.

Beyond his academic and professional pursuits, Hridoy is a deeply committed social activist. He serves as the Joint General Secretary of the Swapnojatra Foundation, a notable voluntary organization. His passion for community service extends to his active involvement with numerous other non-profits, including Prothom Anwara, Swapnojatra Food Bank, Hetikhain United Club, the Leo Club of Golden City, and the Malghar Madrasa Students’ Council. Through these platforms, he inspires and mobilizes youth to engage in social development and humanitarian work.

Hridoy’s contributions to the cultural sphere are equally significant. As a student of the drama and recitation departments at the Chattogram District Shilpakala Academy, he is a familiar presence at various public and private cultural events, performing both solo and group recitations and taking lead roles in stage plays. He is an active member of several cultural organizations, such as Muktodhoni Abritti Sangsad, Natyadhara, and the Muktijuddho o July Gono-Obhyutthan Udjapon Parishad, among others.

An avid explorer, Hridoy possesses a profound passion for discovering the scenic beauty of his homeland. His travels have taken him across the length and breadth of Bangladesh, from Teknaf to Tetulia, having already visited 55 of the nation’s 64 districts.

In the technology sector, Riduan Hridoy has established himself as a forward-thinking leader. He is the Founder and CEO of Bangladesh Cyber Express and concurrently serves as the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sunni Cyber Force Bangladesh. These initiatives play a crucial role in empowering young people with technological skills and promoting awareness about online security.

A skilled organizer and leader, Hridoy’s activism was evident from his significant role in the 2018 Quota Reform Movement and the subsequent July Movement. He currently holds the position of Member of the Chattogram Metropolitan Coordination Committee and serves as the Head of the Chattogram Media Cell for the Jatiya Nagorik Party, demonstrating his growing influence in the political landscape. His multifaceted contributions have earned him numerous accolades and awards from various organizations.

Sharing his vision for the future, Riduan Hridoy states, “No success is sustainable without hard work and integrity. I have embraced every adversity in life as a challenge. My ambition is to establish myself in the fields of journalism and law, dedicating my career to upholding justice and truth in society. Concurrently, I aspire to continue illuminating the path for the next generation through my work in technology, culture, and volunteerism, contributing to the realization of a prosperous Bangladesh.”
